THE LOOPS OF AMALEK – CHAPTER THREE

3. THE DISOBEDIENCE OF SAUL

My dear brother! My faithful friend!
The ancient people have had once such devotion to the lofty causes that most of them have considered the idea of dying in defence of their causes to be more desirable than life itself. Today, however, the time is different. Today, nobody wants to die, but everybody wants to live. For this reason, all people, who enjoy the life, are already dead. They have not understood what is the most important, namely that the Holiness and purity of such a Banner, as Jesus, deserves all persecutions, all pains and sufferings. That is why most people want to know Father as El Shaddai, and not as Jehovah-nissi. The terrible is that sly spirit as the devil would not miss calling itself with the adjectives, characteristic for God, with the sole purpose of tempting and corrupting God’s people.
From the great number of meetings with my Saviour, I understood that God’s Heart had always longed for God’s people to know it. God has always wanted to be raised in the hearts of His children. For this very reason, the devil has always wanted just the contrary – the full depersonalization and blasphemy of God’s Authority.
I know that for all those, who love God’s Word and want to be inspired by it, there is one place in the Bible, which is a mighty spring of inspiration and enlightening. This is the place, where two types of servants might be distinguished: these, who want to please Father and do His Will, and the others, who only take care of their own leadership. You have already understood from the title of this chapter that I am going to talk about Saul here. What is more, I am going to talk here about the spirit, who stumbled and overthrew Saul. Since, this is the same spirit, who overthrows the rulers over the Lord’s people today. Therefore, let me share with you the whole talk, which Lord Jesus had with me. Here are the words, which Jesus told me:
“I want for you to see the life of Saul in this way, by which you would be able to understand when he mistook and where he stumbled. Since, in every time and place, where my Father raises rulers over the Lord’s flock, the same test comes, as that one, which came to Saul. Therefore, remember what the words of My Father to the man, who He was anointing to be king over His people Israel, were…”
I was listening to the Lord. Then, I answered Him:
“Jesus! Father sent His servant Samuel to Saul to anoint him king. Then, God’s prophet appeared the Will of Father before Saul. He told him:
“I am the one the LORD sent to anoint you king over his people Israel; so listen now to the message from the LORD. This is what the LORD Almighty says: “I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys…” (1 Samuel 15:1-3)
Jesus kept talking to me, saying:
“Do you notice that the first test, which My Father put before Saul, was the test with the spirit of Amalek? Since, this is not a man, Stefan, but spirit! Had not passed too many years from the time of Moses to the time of Saul, so that you might understand that this Amalek was not man, but spirit?”
“Yes, Lord! So it was! Father had ruled over Israel through judges for a long time; but His people wished to have a king. This desire became so strong that Father decided to give them a king according to the wish of their hearts. However, the Almighty God, Who is a Ruler of the human hearts, can see there, where the men can not see; that is why the very test to Saul was sent, so that the spirit, who have always opposed to God’s Authority and Sovereignty, might appear…”
“Look then and see whether Saul fulfilled the Will of My Father! Did he do according to God’s expectations? Or, he gave vent to other spirit in his heart?”
“Lord! He gave vent in his heart to the same this spirit, against which he went to fight. So, instead of getting over Amalek, Israel was thrown down by him. And most of the Israelites were caught in the loops of Amalek. And, after being caught, they ensnared their king Saul, too…”
“And what was the loop of Amalek like?”
“Jesus! The plunder and spoil was this snare! These were the spoils of the devil, for which Father had commanded to be totally destroyed. Since, Saul defeated the warriors of Amalek. However, he could not get over the spoils. Satisfied with the lion’s share, he did not wish to raise his hand against Agag, who was king of the Amalekites and servant of the spirit of Amalek…”
“And, is not the stumble of Saul the same today? Since, the five-multiple service has no difficulties to preach the Gospel all over the world. The problem is not in that! The problem is that, except for those, who have been saved by preaching of the good news, the fat spoils of the world come into My Temple, too. Just by them, Amalek lays hands on the Lord’s Throne in the churches. Therefore, turn back to what happened to Saul and notice the reaction of My Father, when He saw the crooked deeds of the king of Israel…”
“My Lord! Father was grieved for choosing Saul His anointed man. Therefore, He told Samuel:
“I am grieved that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions…” (1 Kings 15:11)
Since, Saul no only let the wickedness prevail, but he decided to do much greater lawlessness. Since, the spirit of Amalek, who caught him in its snare, deceived his heart to believe that it was possible for him to serve Father by offering Him from the spoils of the devil. So, the humiliation of God’s Heart by Saul got complete. When Prophet Samuel asked the king what was this bleating of sheep and this lowing of cattle in his ears, then Saul replied him without any fear of the Lord:
“The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the LORD your God, but we totally destroyed the rest…” (1 Samuel 15:15)
After my last words, the Voice of my Lord got very firm and frightful. So, He said:
“Let everybody lay My words in his heart! Let all people bent down their heads, when Lord of the Glory talks to them! What is this lowing of cattle and bleating of sheep in My ears? What is this destructive exalting in the last churches, which have not understood what sacrifices Heaven expects from them? What is this full invasion of the spoils into the House of the Lord, which you have turned into a den of robbers? What this sin and this madness, by which you take the things of the world and offer them as “sweet fragrance” before the altar of My Father, are? O unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with your wickedness? When will those, who are drunk, become sober? When will those, who are asleep, wake up? How long will My Heart be waiting for some man, who, like My servant David, would cry from the pulpit:
Sacrifice of the Lord is a broken spirit and contrite heart!
Sacrifice of God is the mercy to the widow and the orphan!
Sacrifice of God is the sincere love for the brothers!
As to your pride, by which you set up idols and monuments as Saul on the top of Carmel, they will not be of any use for you. Since, the plunderer Amalek can not be overcome by human righteousness and religious rituals. Here, I say and those, who are faithful, will certainly recognize that Lord has spoken:
I was grieved that I made many leaders over My sheep, since they gave up from My Way, went after the spoils of this world and led the commerce into My Temple! I was grieved that I chose men, who forgot that listening to the Voice of the Lord was more acceptable than their offerings and obedience – more desirable than the fatness of rams! I was grieved, because the disobedience of My shepherds became like the sin of sorcery! I was grieved, because their stubbornness against all My words, which I put in the mouth of My servant, became like overflowed stream of wickedness and idol-worship! They rejected the Word, which My Father and I were talking through Our prophet! That is why, we rejected them, too. So, they are no more shepherds according to God’s Heart!
Since, there is not such a pastor according to God’s Heart, who would fear the will of the many, instead of being in fear of the Will of the Only One! Since, there is not such a shepherd according to God’s Heart, who would not recognize when Lord speaks, and when the devil whispers! Since, there is not such a leader according to God’s Heart, who sees that the wolf is coming and leave all his sheep, so that the evil one scatters them!
I am the Only Shepherd over the hearts of My people!
Blissful are those, who have not exchanged the Lord’s hand for the impure hands of hirelings and careerists! Whoever wants let him follow Me in this book. I will surely become Light for the blind men and a trumpet call for the deaf ones! And all those, who My Father has given to me, will certainly see the loops of Amalek.
As to those, who love Saul and want to go out of his authority, I tell them:
As you have been in love with Saul till now, so keep being in love with him to the end!
Since, you are who created him!
You are who wore him out!
You are who bore him!
You wanted such king and you received him! And he will surely rule over you! For everyone who asks receives! Everyone who seeks finds! And to him who knocks, the door will be opened!”
Jesus kept silence. Then, I understood how frightful and fateful His words were. For Saul is really a projection of the hearts, ill with vainglory. He is a personified image of one hardened and depraved generation, which has always wanted to have a shepherd, who would lead it according to the passions of its heart. For, those, who have been caught by the loops of Amalek, will always have the same wish, as their forefathers had. And their fathers were opposing Jesus and were always trying to seize and ensnare Him in His own words and deeds…
Look at these snares, my brothers! Look at that one, who they catch! Then, remember that insensible youth from the proverbs of Solomon, who had taken the way to the house of the prostitute, “like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life…” See these snares and let your heart never forget the written word:
“So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly. I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare…” (Ecclesiastes 7:25-26)
